Supporting intubation in emergency situations with i-view™ and USB™
i-view™ is a single use, fully disposable video laryngoscope providing the option of video laryngoscopy wherever you might need to intubate. In emergency situations, i-view™ can provide the familiarity of a Macintosh blade and advantages of video laryngoscopy where it may not otherwise be available.
The utility of i-view™ could be further enhanced by the Universal Stylet Bougie (USB™) a hybrid stylet and bougie in one simple to use device. The hybrid bougie and stylet design of the USB™ eliminates the need to carry separate devices of each type, while retaining both clinical options. The unique design of the USB™ also incorporates two malleable sections with different and distinct properties either side of a more flexible section. The USB™ can easily be manipulated to a variety of angles when used as a stylet, yet has the flexibility when used as a bougie to provide a significantly enhanced level of tracheal ring feedback.
In appropriate clinical circumstances, combining use of i-view™ and the USB™ can provide a convenient and versatile approach to tube delivery in emergency situations.
